Virgin Atlantic will not be charging its customers for changes to their travel plans if their flights have been booked in March.
All flight change fees for tickets issued from 4th March – 31st March 2020 will now be revoked, this will apply to all travel between 4th March and 30th September. The new policy will apply to the whole of the airline’s international network including services from Heathrow but also from London Gatwick, Manchester, Glasgow and Belfast airports, and tickets booked on Virgin Atlantic codeshare flights on transatlantic routes with its expanded joint venture partners; Delta, Air France and KLM.
Virgin Atlantic is the latest carrier to waive their flight change charges in light of the disruption caused by the outbreak of the Coronavirus. The airline also told Business Traveller of a decrease to their Heathrow-Hong Kong services this month, full details of which can be found here
