Speculation over Sheraton Skyline’s future

Speculation continues over the future of one Heathrow’s most iconic landmark hotels the Sheraton Skyline which has been closed since May earlier this year.

Guests were originally told there was a water supply-infrastructure problem with a proposed completion in June 2028. But the delayed re-opening indicates a major redevelopment or possible rebuilding on the Bath Road site. Booked guests are being redirected to Marriotts’ other Heathrow hotels such as the London Heathrow Marriott which is nearby.

It was originally opened in 1971 and had 350 rooms plus extensive conference facilities.
