British Airways resumes flights to Tel Aviv

British Airways is resuming flights to Israel in late October as the security situation continues to ease.

The daily flights to Tel Aviv begin on October 24. Flight time is typically over five hours and economy tickets from Heathrow to Ben Gurion Airport start at £194 and business tickets start air £443.

There is a train service from the airport into Tel Aviv centre which takes around 15 minutes as well as plentiful taxis.

“It always been a good route for BA with a mix of business and leisure traffic. It’s important for visitors to the holy land as well as for the jewish community in Britain. And Tel Aviv is great for a beach holiday” said one insider.
