The home of the tango and gargantuan steaks, Buenos Aires has long been a favourite of British visitors.
The Argentinian capital buzzes with life, music and colour – and despite the long distance, european influences are to be found in abundance from official buildings to the ubiquitous mediterranean cuisine.
It’s with this mind that British Airways is introducing a new daily non-stop service from Heathrow to Buenos Aires with an additional onward link to /Santiago, Chile. Fully operational from 28 March 2027.
It’s part of BA’s general enhancement of its Latin American services with increased seat capacity to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and extra year-round flights to San Jose, Costa Rica.
The flight time is a character-building 16 hours but the time difference is only three hours from London so the jet lag is quite manageable.
